Dussehra

Dear Ravan,                    Sorry, first ram killed you......

I thought # if ravan is not there in ramayan entire story will be no more interesting and challenging.

About Ravan : Ravan is a rakshasa(demon) with ten heads and ten sets of arms, and is the king of the island lanka. Ravan is very lustful; he keeps many women in addition to his wife for his pleasure, though he's cursed to die if he touches a women without her consent. His lust leads him to kidnap sita after his sister, surpanakha, comes to him with stories of sita's beauty and Ram's ferocity in protecting her.

Well, why am i telling you about Ravan, All you know about Ravan......Tomorrow is Dussehra, is a national holiday in india, you also know the first nine days are celebrated during what is known as maha navratri, meaning ninth night and on the tenth day Dussehra begins. The day honors the victory of the triumph of lord Rama over Ravana.

We all of us celebrate Dussehra.. But I think the burning of Ravana on Dussehra has a lot of harm to the environment, So we used to celebrate Dussehra with such a thing does not pollute the environment.

While we have a gala time during indian festivals, our environment chokes and cries for mercy. From elaborate lighting to polluting fireworks, our ten day bonanza turns into a huge environmental disaster. Nothing much can be done to reverse the effects of our negligence, but measures can be taken to avoid such an eco-debacle.

Here are few tips to "Celebrate Dussehra "1) Say no to chemical paints. 2) Use eco-friendly decorating products.3) Use recyclable product.4) Energy saving lightings. 5) Avoid loudspeakers.6) Avoid use of firecrackers.
